I love hearing from you! And happy you're enjoying the blog. Yes, we do very much cherish the wonderful opportunity we're having to do this and just the fact that we have each other to do it with. Mary Lou, my heart just aches every time I think of you not having Gene with you any longer, especially at this time in your life. Ever since we had lunch and you told me about losing him, I just hurt for you. Just know that both of us send you lots of love and thought to you. Trisha is looking forward to meeting you too!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17542146507059153321noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1043102021264690411.post-23837098778344184122013-06-05T08:05:22.081-05:002013-06-05T08:05:22.081-05:00Lynne, you're right--meeting people on the tra...Lynne, you're right--meeting people on the trails, and in the RV campgrounds, is one of the wonderful parts of this adventure. That arch is pretty spectacular, and it was such a party atmosphere up on top, with so many people there, big groups and individuals. Normally I prefer not to have crowds around, but this time it was pretty neat!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17542146507059153321noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1043102021264690411.post-464414458688994302013-06-01T18:46:40.329-05:002013-06-01T18:46:40.329-05:00WOW...I'm exhausted! Been busy for a couple of weeks, and wasn't traveling with you every day.

I'm so very happy (and envious) that you have each other and these wonderful experiences to share. How I would love the freedom to do what you're doing! Cherish this time together.

Looking forward to meeting Trisha when you get home in the Fall.

Love,
Mary Lou

Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14489946313343875168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1043102021264690411.post-55141343784075996982013-05-31T11:26:34.794-05:002013-05-31T11:26:34.794-05:00What a fun-filled day for you both! Amazing how many people you happen to meet on the trails, and I bet those kids will cherish their "pictures with Santa at Delicate Arch" for years to come!

I did the hike across the canyon from Delicate Arch and it was quite exciting to reach the summit and discover not only a first view of the arch, but a big canyon as well. Surely not as exciting as getting up right next to the arch itself, though. Glad you got to do that!Lynne (WinnieViews)https://www.blogger.com/profile/17043666828785051719noreply@blogger.com
